Goals are dreams with deadlines. Stop dreaming! I took control of my life and with the help of many wonderful people I was able to lose 135 pounds in 11 months. Set a goal, tell everyone who will listen, and stick to your plan. You can do it!!
"Man imposes his own limitations, don't set any." ~Anthony Bailey When I started all this it was all just a big dream. I figured if I am going to dream, DREAM BIG! You seriously can do whatever you set your mind to.
Ryan, I found your story a couple months ago, and you have become such an inspiration to me. Tomorrow is my 47th birthday, and I decided 47 is my favorite number, because this is the year that I'm going to lose the extra 130 pounds I've been hauling around every minute for the past 20+ years. I recently realized that my mind is what has kept me bound for so long - the limitations I have set for myself. So, I am taking your advice to DREAM BIG! and not set limits to what I can achieve.
Congratulations to both of you. I know that making the commitment and taking the first step is sometimes the hardest part of the process. Keep me posted on your progress!!

Wow! Thanks for the support and inspiration! Hopefully some day I'll be able to stand thin next to my big pants just like you. =]
